Job Description:
- Contribute to achieving the Wealth Advisor Group’s goals by providing sales support for the assigned Advisor to bring in new business; assisting Advisor develop and implement asset allocation strategies for clients; providing outstanding face to face and telephone client service; processing of checks, wires, transfers, etc.; transferring and setting up of new accounts; communicating changes or special instructions to the operations and portfolio administration teams.
- Supervise the work load of the Client Service Associates team and prioritize projects for both our main office and our satellite office.
- Contribute to client segmentation analysis and provide input to the service model to incorporate industry best practices.
- Help manage marketing campaigns, including coordinating target lists, obtaining collateral material, working with the Compliance Department, and keeping track of success rates.
- Develop and implement procedures, protocols, and service standards for the department that lead to a strong support system for the Wealth Advisory Group.
- Develop and implement supervisory check-lists that insure procedures are followed and that stop gaps are in place to identify incorrect implementation of procedures.
- Help manage vendor/partner relationships; help negotiate cost effective arrangements for the benefit of the clients.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of new business requirements and industry landscape and provide continual education and training to IAA’s; topics may include new products, procedures, and/or compliance issues.
- Liaise between the Wealth Advisory Group and other departments.
- Act as the point person for high profile projects and issues requiring immediate resolution.
- As needed, provide administrative support to the group, including setting up meetings with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

- Proficiency in use of portfolio accounting systems (i.e., APL, Axys), CRM’s, excel, word, and database software, and web-based systems of various custodians.
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree
- Series 7 and 63/65
- 5 to 7 years client service working with high net worth individuals at an investment management firm, private bank, or broker/dealer with history of increasing responsibilities.
- Knowledge of equity and fixed income markets; knowledge of alternative asset classes, including hedge funds and private equity.
- Experience with and knowledge of paperwork and workflow associated with custodians such as Charles Schwab and/or Fidelity Investments.
- Knowledge of nuances in setting up various account registrations, including documentation required and limitations behind such registrations.
- Commitment to, and demonstrated history of, providing the best service levels to clients as well as to internal constituents.
