Overall Objectives:

This is a varied position with a high level of responsibility within the Client Service team, within Investment Manager Services (Asia Pac Region). These functions are to be performed with a strong level of accuracy and in a professional manner, in accordance with investment guidelines, regulatory standards and written procedures.  The prime objectives of this role are:

- to provide a high standard of  client service / support across all the operational groups
- to facilitate a robust and professional client transition process for the APAC region (account openings, transitions and account closings) 
- to develop a platform for managing custodian relationships and clearing brokers
- to manage data integrity and data administration functions
- continually work with groups in the various regions to standardise and improve processes

Prime Functions:

- To ensure all new clients are successfully integrated on to the Investment Operations platform. This will involve, direct liaison with the clients, custodians as well as other groups within the Investment Manager Services group for the APAC region.
- To ensure any account transition or termination is successfully implemented by liaising with clients, custodians as well as other groups within the Investment Manager Services group.
- To provide ongoing support / client service to clients by dealing with any ad hoc queries that arise on a day to day basis that fall outside of the portfolio administration functions.
- To develop the monthly KPI reporting pack to the global standard
- To ensure procedure documentation is kept up to date and assist with the construction of any new documentation required as a result of new industry initiatives.
- Review processes to determine gaps between current outputs and desired targets and assist in documenting and implementing required changes to policies, procedures and controls.
- To develop procedures oversight and controls to ensure key processes are well controlled and managed.
- Work with both internal and external stakeholders to build and maintain good working relationships both globally and regionally.
- Project initiatives – involvement with regards to future automation within the department as a whole, with a direct objective of increased efficiency, accuracy and productivity. 
- Contribute to team initiatives around audit, risk management. Qualifications The Candidate:

Qualifications Experience:

Minimum of 5 years Asset Management, Custody, Banking or Financial Service related business experience required, working within a team environment. Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance or associated field will be an advantage.

Experience in the Portfolio administration with knowledge in regional practices in regard to Acount Transition and Global market setups is preferred.

Experience with Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Project) Market Data Services(Bloomberg etc.).
