Client Service Officer recruitment

Merrill Lynch Bank Suisse (SA) are recruiting for a Client Service officer to provide fundamental support to the Financial Advisors both domestically and internationally across the Italian, Suisse, Nigerian and Turkish Global Wealth and Investment Management markets.

Global Wealth and Investment Management is one of the largest wealth management businesses in the world with $1.9 trillion in total client assets. The business provides comprehensive wealth management to affluent and high net worth clients, as well as retirement and benefit plan services, philanthropic management and asset management to individuals and institutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

•Providing expert support in all phases of client service, client relationship building and account maintenance to assist the business activities of Financial Advisors.

•Accepting and placing orders upon Financial Advisor and /or client request

•Responding to client inquiries on account documentation, account balances, account activity, statement information, securities transfers, security information, general product and/or service information

•Researching and initiating corrections to transactions and/or account errors.

•Providing administrative support to Financial Advisors and/or Management by:

-Maintaining existing accounts through excellent client service, creating and maintaining client files, obtaining required documentation

-Initiating client contact via phone/meetings as needed to support Financial Advisors.

-Handling any documentation, presentation preparation, mailings, as required.

-Reviewing client portfolios for all updates

-Prospecting activities, including client/prospect communication, and seminar activities

-Remaining current on Products, Services and the Firm’s System Applications.

Role requirements:

•Previous experience within a client focused role ideally with Swiss Private Banking knowledge

•We are looking for proven team players, with strong organization; technical skills and experience

•Fluent in English, Italian and French is essential both verbal and written communication skills.

•The ability to multi-task and prioritise within a busy and fast paced environment.

•Confidence to build strong professional relationships internally and with external providers.

•Must have strong MS Office skills - Excel and word advanced essential.
