We are seeking an ambitious individual with brokerage experience in back office operations to join our Client Service and (New Client) Implementation team.  This is a great opportunity for someone to broaden their experience in the financial services industry in general, brokerage operations, and Lime's core competency - hi frequency and algorithmic trading.  Our business model is focused on providing Lime's professional and institutional customer base tools and electronic connectivity to the major US exchanges, dark pools and other trading venues to facilitate hi frequency and algorithmic trading strategies for US equities, options and futures.

Our main office is located in New York City where a dedicated staff oversees the daily operation and processing of millions of transactions each day.  As part of our team you will work closely with senior staff while also interacting with our Chief Compliance Officer and members of trading, sales and technical groups on a daily basis.  However, it is expected that this individual will work with his/her supervisor to develop long term goals beyond those responsibilities listed below and receive some cross training within our Operations Department.  This person should also be comfortable working in a technical environment.

Responsibilities and Expectations

*       Possess a general understanding of the brokerage and financial services industry
*       Understand the structures and relationships of the US equities, options, and futures markets
*       Understand Lime's organization, business model, customer types, and fit in the US marketplace
*       Project managing the implementation of new accounts including the processing of account documentation, opening of accounts for new and existing clients and facilitating the new account integration in the trading system in conjunction with Technical Operations
*       Track and process all client requests for enabling and disabling licenses for access to market data
*       Facilitate all other account paperwork including but not limited to the addition or removal of traders/authorized persons, additional sub/base accounts, address changes, portfolio margin, etc.
*       Process all account transfers - journaling funds/positions, DTC/ACAT transfers, wire and check requests
*       Lead on all client service account inquires - including but not limited to client requests, P/L questions, statements, report requests, audit requests, etc.
*       Process all monthly market data reporting to the various exchanges
*       Lead market data contact for the facilitation of new and continued business
*       Routing and tracking of client technical questions, projects, requests to ensure the client's expectations are managed appropriately

Qualifications

*       Bachelors degree or equivalent educational achievement (preferably in business, finance, economics, or a related field)
*       2-5 years prior work experience in this field or similar position desired required
*       Strong organizational skills with the ability to document and track your work
*       Strong verbal and written communication skills
*       Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects
*       Fluency in Microsoft Office including MSWord, MSExcel
