Client Service Rep/ Team Leader- Custody/ Fund Accounting recruitment

Area of Responsibility:

Client Servicing and Inquiry Response:

Proactively responde to FA/Custody related client inquiries ona daily basis
Work with internal departments to prioritize client requests, deliverables and issue resolution.
Maintain a strong knowledge of BBH departments, systems and services across all products and businesses.
Ability to work on customized reporting esp for FA client needs
Work independently to respond to all client inquiries on a daily basis including the most complex and escalated issues and own resolution.
Work closely with Relationship Managers to stay abreast of client goals and identify opportunities to expand client relationships.
If Team Leader: in addition need to establish service standards for assigned client groups ensuring standards are shared with and understood by team members and all internal support groups, serving as an escalation point for client service issues and deliverables, and build overall credibility and foster trust with clients.

Technology/ Productivity/ Innovation

Utilize relevant internal technology solutions to effectively manage client inquiries.
Introduce and familiarize clients with new technology, automation tools and products.
Team leader would need to review and stream line functional tasks for maximum team efficiency, lead and assist in implementing the coordination of new business and product implementations and conversions.

Control and Risk Management

Complete monthly client reporting requirements
Assist in maintaining and reporting on client service related metrics.
Participate in team based project work and audits.
Monitor receipt of all client documentation and analyze exposure of missing documentation to BBH/client.
Ensure proper escalation and follow through on claim payments and invoice collection.
Team leaders would oversee the day to day activities of direct reports, ensure, legal, tax and documentation related issues are appropriately documented, act as the primary point of escalation for Systems, Operations, and Risk/Control for any client related issues and proactively manage the resolution process with frequent updates and satisfaction measures, and manage controls efficiently to alleviate any areas of potential risk.

Leadership and Staff Supervision (For Team Leaders Only)

Promote a cohesive team atmosphere through exhibiting strong leadership, effective communication, professionalism, and development of individual career paths
Participate in the interview and selection process for job applicants.
Oversee and ensure training and cross training of employees on relevant job functions to develop breadth and depth of knowledge.
Participate in inter departmental and cross Line of Business Project teams.
Complete and oversee the completion of the BBH annual performance review process.
Provide ongoing feedback and coaching to staff to improve individual and team performance. Manage performance issues and disciplinary process for employees falling below set expectations.
Assist in managing team expenses.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Education level and/or relevant experience(s):

BA/BS degree in a business related field, and/or equivalent work experience.
3-5+ years of Fund Accounting, Global Custody, and/or Transfer Agency experience.
2+ years of supervisory experience(for Team Leader Role).

Other requirements:

Good knowledge of FA and custody field.
Ability to prepare customized FA reports for clients.
Ability to build and maintain internal and external client relationships.
Ability to learn and utilize new technologies to research, analyze, and resolve client needs.
Comprehensive working knowledge of Excel.
Working knowledge of corporate actions, equity, fixed income, and derivative investments, Ability to multitasks, prioritize assignments and work quickly and accurately in a deadline oriented environment (team leader)
Mandarin and or Cantonese speakers preferred.
