Client Service RFP Specialist recruitment
The group provides advisory services to portfolios/funds (including those that it sponsors or manages) and with respect to sub-advised portfolios/funds and to other institutional investors, including public pension plans, corporate pension plans, collective trust funds maintained by a bank (including their trustees), corporations, endowments, foundations, funds of hedge funds, family offices, registered investment advisers, registered investment companies, third party broker-dealers, private banks, state and municipal government entities and other asset management firms.
Department Overview
The client service department’s duties include:
• Providing a broad range of support to client-facing staff
• Produce high quality Request for Proposals (RFP) and RFIs (Requests for Information) that win business, are compelling to read and accurately reflect our specialist approach and ensure all RFPs and RFIs (standard and customized) are completed within deadlines. These will include new business opportunities, existing client cross-sell opportunities, due diligence requests and consultant queries.
• Coordinating client Due Diligence agenda and presentations.
• Creating and updating standard and bespoke strategy marketing material, e.g, pitch books, fact sheet, flyers etc.
• Compiling and distributing performance analyses, both internally and externally
• Writing and editing client service reports quarterly and on an ad hoc basis
• Reviewing and monitoring II and Mandatewire searches
• Coordinating quarterly investor calls
• Coordinating monthly email marketing campaigns
• Updating consultant databases where applicable.
• Creating presentation materials for conferences and corporate events
• Serving as a backup for senior client executives, interacting with clients by email, telephone, and in person as needed
• Sufficient confidence to interact effectively with senior members of investment and sales, risk and compliance teams
Candidate Profile:
- 5+ years experience producing RFPs in marketing/client service roles within a large asset management organization, especially in alternative products
- Experience using RFP software, Qvidian (formally Sant Suite) Corporation is highly desirable, though, not a pre-requisite
- Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work under pressure with accuracy and attention to detail
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, establishing and maintaining key relationships with other departments
- Intermediate understanding of a broad range of markets and market investment strategies
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel and preferable experience with third-party data, e.g., Bloomberg and Lipper.
Basic Qualifications
• A Bachelor Degree is required.

• MBA, CFA, CAIA.
