Client Service/New Business Associate
We are a boutique firm offering equity management services, serving a diverse and distinguished client base from all major markets. The Associate is an important member of our institutional marketing team and is responsible for supporting a senior marketing/client services professional and the firm’s client service/consultant relations/new business objectives.
In support of a senior marketing/client service professional, Associates are responsible for handling numerous client, consultant and prospect requests, as well as initiating and maintaining contact with potential and existing business partners. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Responding to information, performance, and documentation requests from clients, consultants, and prospects
- Producing client service and prospecting materials such as presentations and correspondence
- Assist with reviewing RFPs and consultant databases for accuracy and timely submission
- Produce/conceive sales/marketing materials for both internal and external use (prospecting letters/materials, competitor analysis, performance analysis) to support business effort
- Generate leads for salespeople through publications, databases, and other sources; search for RFPs and compile lists of names and contact information
- Projects related to Defined Contribution business and Consultant Relations
- Increasing responsibilities for external contact and relationships, commensurate with demonstrated ability
Associates are expected to have or quickly achieve competence in dealing directly with client, consultant and prospect contacts in a knowledgeable and professional manner. She/he must be knowledgeable of all client reporting requirements associated with each client relationship. Potential for additional responsibility as they progress within the role, which could include client-facing and externally focused responsibilities. As appropriate, Associates will be asked to participate in department and firm-wide projects and initiatives.
The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter eager to learn about or expand knowledge on all aspects of the global institutional asset management business. Candidates must be detail-oriented and possess strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills. The ability to work successfully in a team is a must. Prior professional work experience in the area of investments is mandatory. A university degree is required. A strong work ethic and healthy ambition for responsibility are essential. Candidate must be eligible for employment in the UK without additional documentation. Some travel will be required.
