Client Services Account Manager – Repacks recruitment
The Repack Client Services team supports and manages over 1800 Structured Repackaging transactions providing, Issuing Paying Agency, Account Bank, Custody Trustee services to a wide ranging clients base mainly high profile FI's across the EMEA region.
The Account Managers are responsible for managing the service delivery to the client on a day to day basis. As well as being the front line relationship contact, an Account Manager is responsible for ensuring all requirements of the client are met in an accurate and timely manner. The role covers a broad spectrum of responsibilities ranging from reading transaction documentation to understanding the basic structure of the deal, running reports, processing transactions (mostly payments and payment related), managing internal systems, reconciliations and Management Information System (MIS) break clearance. The Account Manager will be directly responsible for all roles and have extensive interaction with the Client, Operations and other external counterparties.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for a wide ranging portfolio of transactions, acting as the Relationship Manager and Administrator for the respective clients.
- Working with clients, you will provide settlement solutions which vary from standard through to more complex cross border arrangements.
- Reviewing transaction documentation from a mechanical/practical (non-legal) perspective in conjunction with Transaction Management and in-house legal team, pre and post-closing, incorporating restructures, waivers, notice consents early termination of deals.
- Processing and settlement of all transactions including Cash Payments, Investments, Custody trades and FX.
- Management of various internal databases and systems to ensure accurate up-to-date information at times.
- Liaising with clients counterparties and relevant internal departments to ensure transactions and queries are dealt with in an efficient and timely manner.
- Ensuring transactions are managed in compliance with the transaction documents.
- Creation and implementation of procedures for new transactions set up processes and population of in house systems.
- Monitor NOSTRO, Fee Billing, Late Payment Claims and other operational MIS break reports and provide regular feedback to Management and Operations on outstanding items.
- Timely escalation of client or operational problems to Team Leaders / Department Head as relevant.
- Supporting fellow Team Members, Team Leaders and Department Head on an on-going basis.
- Any other duties or ad-hoc projects as required.
You will have:
- Experience in a similar role or in a Corporate Trust, Cash Management, Custody or Loan Administration function.
- Some knowledge of the following ideal: Payment processing, MTN Issuing and Paying Agency Operations, Structured Finance Transaction documentation, Capital Markets Operations.
- Structured Finance, Capital Markets products and/or basic accounting knowledge advantageous but not essential.
You will be:
- Educated to Degree level (or the international equivalent).
- Able to demonstrate clear logical thought process and adopt a “best practice” risk-oriented attitude.
- A team player with strong communication skills.
- Able to show initiative, leadership and be highly client focused.
- PC literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products. Part of the role will be using internal database systems for which training will be provided.
- Confident, articulate and able to build rapport and maintain strong relationships with clients and other internal/external stakeholders.
- Numerate and analytical with strong attention to detail.
