Client Services Account Manager / Transaction Manager recruitment

This is a client facing position where you will have a portfolio of clients to manage regionally and will cover the full range of conventional debt products to include Euro Commercial Papers (ECPs), EMTNs, Eurobonds and CDs.

Interested candidates will enjoy dealing with internal and external clients and possess strong problem solving skills.  You will also be comfortable dealing with a variety of different situations as many transactions are high profile and are structured by sometimes complex legal documents so an understanding of transaction documentation would be a strong advantage. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with capital markets experience to expand their skill set and manage a portfolio of transactions with international clients across various industry sectors and corporate trust and agency products.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will review draft documentation for new and existing transactions where Trust and Securities Services is appointed as agent and/or trustee

• You will negotiate terms of documentation from the Bank’s perspective with the transaction parties (Issuers, Borrowers, Banks, other parties and their Lawyers)

• You will deal with a wide range of client and operational queries

• You will work closely with Operations to ensure that when client issues are escalated they are resolved and results communicated back to the client

• You will perform a relationship management role with clients and attend client calls and meetings.  There may be travel involved depending on the coverage.

• You will coordinate the operational work associated with the funds flows on the transactions (including payments on relevant transactions)

• You will handle the administration of new and existing transactions (account reconciliation, deal management systems, maintenance of internal databases, timely publication of notices, meetings, operational queries, fee receivables, payments, nostro exceptions) 

You will have:

• A capital markets or investment banking background with good operational experience, with exposure to agency and trust services- corporate actions experience would be an advantage

• A - Levels (or the international equivalent qualifications). Degree educated ideally  

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Strong problem-solving skills with the abiliy to demonstrate this

• Good time management and organizational capabilities - manage own time effectively, anticipating and meeting deadlines

• Excellent interpersonal skills, client focused, the ability to assert yourself and be able to deal with people at all levels of the organisation

• Well-developed and accurate business writing skills and be numerate, with attention to detail

• The credibility and confidence to liaise effectively at senior levels

• Strong attention to detail
