Client Solution/Proposal Manager:
A global consulting firm is looking to hire a permanent Client Solution/Proposal Manager based in Toronto. This role will be responsible for prospecting developing proposals for public sector clients across Canada. Primary responsibilities include:
- Prospecting support to Sales Managers
- Pursuit (RFI RFP Response preparation)
- Knowledge Management (content creation that will aid in responses)
- Research Analysis (market analysis, win-loss analysis, competition analysis)
- Visit Management (planning, agenda development executing visits)
- People management (leading teams)
Expectations from the Role:
- Candidate should take end-to-end bottom-line responsibility for a proposal or visit
- Build the team, Schedule assignments, Monitor, review report status manage risks
- Create win themes, value adds, competitive differentiation in proposal responses
- Integrate learning’s from win-loss analysis collaborate with other units to share what you learning’s
- Support MSA reviews collaborate with various department to obtain review comments sign-offs
- Ensure the highest levels of service offerings to the client WITHIN the guidelines, policies norms of company
- BACHELORS DEGREE (WITH MBA PREFERRED)
- Mandatory Requirement is at least 2 yrs of Government pursuits pre-sales exposure in Canada (Ontario provincial government immediate requirement)
- 10+ yrs of Industry exp
- Previous exp on RFP proposal evaluation teams is a definite asset
- Knowledge of Pre-sales process
- Highly proficient experienced in Canadian Government proposal processes, evaluation scoring mechanisms
- Exceptional ability to translate abstract or complex concepts into clear concise value proposition
- Ability to work with sales managers delivery teams to develop win themes, provide valuable proposal advice identify benefits for clients
- Project Management Meeting facilitation skills
- Knowledge of Requirements Engineering processes tools
- Technology awareness of .Net, Java, Enterprise Service Bus, Patient Care Systems, Clinical Information Systems, ERP highly desirable
- Knowledge of Software Engineering processes
- Knowledge of Testing methods tools
- Knowledge of Maintenance Support methods
- Estimation Awareness of various pricing engagement models
- Highly proficient in MS Word MS PowerPoint
- Proficient in the use of MS Excel, MS Project, Adobe Photoshop, WinZip, PDF Writer
