Overview

Annalect is an entity within Omnicom Media Group and drives business solutions through technology, data and analytics. Our solutions drive greater efficiencies and value for OMD/PHDs’ client teams and client businesses. Examples of these solutions include reporting dashboards, partner centers, audience insights planning tools, all surrounding deeper Business Intelligence.

The CSM team sits within Annalect and consists of a 25+ global team thus far.

Role

The Client Solutions Director is a Business Consultant with digital thought leadership and expertise that is responsible for selling, servicing, scoping, supporting and stewarding Annalect technology, actionable solutions for the client account team / client.

The position will be based in Chicago and have designated responsibility for specific internal accounts in collaboration held by OMD and PHD teams. These pieces of business may consist of domestic and/or Global accounts driven out of the Chicago OMD/PHD offices. Travel may be required pending on the account and client location.

This position will be reporting to a Regional Lead. Managerial responsibilities will include at least one direct report based in Chicago.

Key Responsibilities

q      Consultant, strategist, business liaison

Use a consultative approach to determine the client needs, provide expert knowledge and determine solutions driving the new Annalect offering for Midwest clients and client teams. Lead the conception and implementation of custom business solutions for each account with clear action plan and project map.

q      Project Management and Delivery

Work with the CSM (Project Manager – direct report) and technology team to translate the resource requirements to technology teams according to project map/SOW/scope in implement the solution. This includes delegation and technical guidance on changes that may need throughout the process. Guide CSM with appropriate account servicing and maintaining existing solutions on a day-to-day basis

q      Collaboration

Bring in SMEs, Finance, Tech Dev teams, Analytics Operations where needed to fulfill comprehensive solution requirements and recommendations. Ongoing sharing and stealing – case studies, best practices, learnings. Build relationships with key account directors and leads as well as client where appropriate

 

 

q      Business steward

Drive revenue opportunities and ensure costs are covered with project remuneration. Input into the product and offering - Continue to understand and communicate the CATs business needs holistically across the organization so we can continue to enhance, build and drive cutting edge solutions that fit those needs. Drive thought Leadership and Best Practice – whether these pieces coming from you or compiled by other individuals within the team and disseminated to CAT or client teams

q      Manager and Career Development

Create career development plans for direct reports. Establish fun, collaborative, passionate and positive culture and environment for team and individuals to grow

Profile

q      Experience in media management (planning, buying and/or research)

q      Mindset for media industry analytics, data and reporting

q      Knowledge and passion for the Digital media space is important especially technology functionality

q      Business acumen – professional, historically established key client relationships that drive business and profitability

q      Experience in end-to-end technology solutions/applications in a media environment

q      Management skills

q      Client service  and/or account management experience is a must

q      Minimum of 10 years of experience, Director Level

q      Passion for building solutions to help advertisers drive better communication

q      Open to considering candidates from outside the agency world (site side or vendor side), but will need to hold high competencies as above and understand the agency world
