Overview:

To retain and grow Thomson Reuters equity desktop and desktop extension suite of products and services to our top trading customers in the Americas

Responsibilities: • Drive desktop usage and help to build community establishing Thomson Reuters as the premier desktop solution.
• Provide domain expertise to allow end users to extract the most value from their Thomson Reuters desktop, which drives retention.
• Proactively work with Account Manager and team to develop and execute sales strategies for accounts
• Target and drive large scale enterprise-wide renewals and new opportunities related to end-user workflow in new and existing customers.
• Retention of revenue in accounts under competitive threat.
• Oversee client meetings to carry out product demonstrations and retain footprint and upsell services to existing clients.
• Lead sales campaigns to achieve increased product market penetration
• Work closely with the Equities Division team to feed product ideas and provide client feedback

Skills

Education:

Undergraduate Degree Required. MBA and/or CFA, CAIA or CHP preferred

Required Skills:

Deep domain knowledge and technical expertise in Equity Trading and related TR products/solutions
Strong business development, prospecting, and consultative/solutions-based selling skills
Strong communications, interpersonal, and persuasion skills
Effective organizational and planning skills
Emotional resilience
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
Undergraduate degree required
MBA, CFA or Masters Degree preferred
Previous experience working in financial services and/or financial information business
Active member of professional/industry organizations aligned with particular customer segment (e.g. AIMR, SIA, etc.)
Previous industry experience preferred
Collaborative working relationship with AMs within Territories
Ability to work in a team environment with goal to reatin and grow revenue with our Hedge Fund client base
