Client Support Specialist – Treasury Software (maternity cover) recruitment

Position Description:
SunGard's solutions for corporate liquidity help businesses facilitate connectivity across the ecosystem of buyers, suppliers, banks, data providers and other stakeholders to increase visibility of cash, improve communication and response time, reduce risk and help drive maximum value from working capital.
This role is to provide daily support to SunGard's EMEA clients on AvantGard Treasury products. This will be through phone and e-mail communications, undertaking appropriate research of product issues as they arise. This is a maternity-cover position starting in June / July 2012.
Core Activities:
• Communication with clients on support issues with AvantGard products; review and analysis of issues that arise, including pro-active communication of issue status
• Communication with SunGard Consultants on support issues with AvantGard Treasury products, and to development teamsn in order to progress issues which require their input
• Translate, communicate and reinforce the goals, values and priorities of the organisation through the support desk
Position Requirements:
• Treasury (preferable) or other financial markets knowledge
• Good technical skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Client facing focus on day-to-day work
• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
• Excellent issue resolution capability
• Disciplined administration skills to allow effective administration and follow-up of issues
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Clear organisational awareness and knowledge
Any experience on working with SQL and/or Oracle databases would be an advantage, as would experience of working with Crystal Report Writer.
