Client System Analyst

HOURS: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday - Friday
DUTIES:
We have an exciting opportunity for an energetic and self-motivated person who has a passion to make a difference as a Client System Analyst at U.S. Venture, Inc. In this role you will proactively support client technologies to provide optimal performance and value to the business; provide technical support for computer related systems, hardware software; installing, upgrading, and supporting applications across the company. Maximize the value of applications through end-user training. Troubleshoot problems, take corrective actions, and implement long-term resolutions. You will have opportunities for your continued training development and flexibility for work life balance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Associate degree plus 2-years experience in a technology support position
· Must be very organized and have superior customer service skills
· Above average analytical and problem solving skills
· Above average verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to work flexible hours on short notice
· Ability to set short range plans and adjust direction and priorities as needed
· Must have a working knowledge of various client technologies, which may include but are not limited to:
- Desktop and laptop hardware and operating systems
- Microsoft Office and SharePoint
- Group Policies and Active Directory structure and security
- Software Distribution and workstation management solutions
- Client and network-based software applications
- Desktop Virtualization and remote access/VPN technologies
- Mitel VoIP systems and applications, Unified Communications
- Telecommunications technologies and industry trends
- Local, long distance, wireless calling plans and telecom/datacom circuits
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
· Proactively manage client related technologies to help maximize the value to the business
· Second tier support of PC hardware software, phones, printers and other computer related equipment
· Assist business partners with planning and budgeting technology lifecycles for hardware software upgrades
· Ensure adequate virus protection on all technology assets
· Ensure software installations on company PC’s have prior approval
· Ensure software use is compliant with manufacturer’s license agreements
· Report and address any use of software that goes against company policies
· Work with outside vendors to resolve issues
· Manage vendor provided services and contracts
· Provide backup for other team members
