Client Trainer – Sales & Account Management recruitment

The Client Trainer will report to the Client Training and Development Manager and co-ordinate extensively with account and regional teams and with Account Managers, Client Services, Marketing, Research and Technology.   He/She will be responsible for taking additional responsibility for the development and maintenance of all training collateral for a particular Knowledge segment and building relationships with that Segment/Product team with the key goal of keeping all the other Client Trainers up to date on how to best train clients from that particular segment.

Main Responsibilities
“Best Practice” Training activities
Develop and support a comprehensive and professional training program to ensure that clients use and extract maximum value from Wood Mackenzie’s research products

Conducting client training
The Client Trainer will deliver training sessions on a variety of client accounts; perform training needs analyses (TNA's); and actively communicate with the appropriate Wood Mackenzie team all client interactions/activities.

 

Sales Support activities
Work closely with the Client Management Team to provide sales demonstrations for clients

 

Knowledge and Experience

Ideally, the successful candidate will have a good knowledge of the oil and gas industry, or coal industry, or metals industry or financials industry gained from a minimum of 3 - 5 years relevant work experience; minimum Bachelors Degree.  He/She must have proven IT training skills and a high level of PC literacy. Strong presentation and public speaking skills are essential for this role as well as excellent interpersonal skills. The ability to transfer knowledge and enable client learning is essential.
