Clients & Markets – VIE recruitment
Composed of eight people based in Paris, London and Hong Kong the Clients Markets team works as a team of internal advisors, the team gathers and analyses information and data to support the decision-making process with regard to sales and business strategy and product development. It works on projects such as market sizings, market share calculations, our annual client satisfaction survey and strategic studies.
Reporting to the Head of Clients Markets, the main responsibilities of the VIE are:
- Following the press for a number of countries and segments and synthesizing the results of the press reviews into publications for AXA IM internally (Instutional Clients Trends and Distribution Trends)
- Market sizings, e.g., related to product launches, market share calculations or sales prioritization
- Publishing our quarterly dashboard with the AXA IM market share per country and asset class, which feeds into discussions at Top Management level
- Leading market research, especially but not only on the UK market, to help fine-tune the sales strategy
The work allows to develop a deep and transversal view on the asset management industry.
What sort of profile are we looking for:
- Finished, or about to finish a master degree in Finance in University or Business School.
- An interest in research
- Excellent analytic skill, shown by strong academic results
- Highly motivated, team player, open-minded and dynamic
- Fluent in English : good communication skills, orally and in writing
- Ideally a passive understanding of either: Korean, Japanese or Chinese
- An interest in financial markets and the asset management industry in particular would be a plus
