Clinical Administrative Coordinator

Position Description:
Positions in this function are responsible for supporting both clinical and administrative Inpatient and Secondary Level of Care Clinical Services staff with regard to letter generation for the Northeast region. The NE Letter Generation Team is a high volume letter generation unit responsible for meeting stringent regulatory guidelines for written notification of benefit determinations to members, physicians, and facilities.
 
Primary Responsibilities:

The IPC in this role will prioritize and complete all requests to generate clinical decision letters under the direction of the ICM and Medical Director. This candidate needs to be familiar with regulatory requirements including complying with regulatory timeframes. The candidate will also demonstrate critical thinking and decision making skills.
