CLINICAL BAND 8A HEAD OF SERVICE – WEST YORKSHIRE
Hays Healthcare is working with West Yorkshire based NHS Trust to recruit an interim Head of Service.
The post holder will responsible for delivering and influencing the delivery of a defined service. In doing so, they will support the senior management team to deliver strategic targets and be responsible for the operational management of the service.
The post holder will work to professional and regulatory body codes, standards and guidance at all times ensuring that their practice is grounded in evidence based theoretical and practical knowledge. They will be responsible for developing new and innovative practices responding to emerging knowledge and techniques.
Applicants will require the following skills and qualifications:
· Professional degree or diploma in a relevant field
· RGN / RMN registered
· Maintenance of CPD portfolio
· Experience in operational management
· Experience in the leading and teaching of others
· Highly specialist knowledge of professional roles and responsibilities
· Knowledge of corporate responsibility
· Change management skills
· Risk assessment skills
