Clinical Care Manager
The facility is a state of the art fully equipped Residential Aged Care Facility catering to local residents of the NSW Central Coast, providing the full spectrum of care including low care, high care, high care extra services, dementia care and respite care.
Conveniently located near the Pacific Highway at Kanwal, a suburb of Wyong, it is only 300 metres from Wyong Hospital with access to transport and shops close by. This state of the art facility offers residents additional hotel-like services or lifestyle extras.
They are currently seeking to appoint a dynamic Clinical Care Manager to lead and manage the clinical team. Your role is to assist the Director of Care Services in identifying opportunities for improvement related to the Aged Care Standards and to ensure innovative, person-centred, individualised care for residents with a focus on wellness and companionship.
The Role:
Management of the clinical team
Oversee all clinical assessment, care planning, and ACFI funding administration for residents
Clinical governance and ensure nursing practices are in compliance to the Aged Care Legislation Accreditation Standards
Mentor and supervise junior nursing and support staff
Assist in the hiring of new clinical staff
Staff rostering
The successful candidate will have:
Current Nursing registration with AHPRA and police certificate
Advanced and strong clinical, care planning and ACFI experience
A strong ability to develop staff
Strong Marketing and Business Development skills
Solid clinical operational management experience within the Aged Care industry
Previous experience on Quality Assurance
Excellent communication, time management, and customer service skills.
