Sodexo is seeking a registered dietitian for Christ Hospital, a 324 bed community hospital located in Jersey City NJ (Newark NJ Metro area). The ideal candidate will be a Registered Dietitian with 1 year of acute care experience, providing nutrition care for patients with a variety of disease states. The selected candidate will be familiar with the Nutrition Care Process and possess strong clinical and critical thinking skills. Responsibilities include providing patients with exceptional nutrition care at this progressive health care center, offering a broad range of services including inpatient medical/surgical services, intensive and cardiac care as well as Maternal Child Health. A modern, state-of-the-art facility, Christ Hospital Utilizes Sodexo?s premier room service program "Expressly for You". Position Summary : Provides basic nutrition assessments and care planning for patients/residents. Plans special diets and supervises their preparation. Instructs patients/residents and/or hospital personnel in basic principles of nutrition and modifications of normal diet. Performs routine care responsibilities without training and direction.
