Job Description: Responsible for providing, and communicating, preventative and corrective medical nutrition therapy to ambulatory patients as a part of a multidisciplinary team with a focus in the transplant practice as well as general practices including obstetrics. Communicates regularly with colleagues and patients. Develops medical nutrition therapy protocols and nutrition education materials. Educates Dietetic Interns; assists in training new staff. Participates in inter- and intradepartmental activities such as patient and staff education programs, research, community outreach, etc. Serves as a resource for allied health and medical staff. This position will be 1.0 FTE for 3-6 months, then may drop to 0.6 FTE depending upon future needs. (001275) Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Nutrition or related field. Completion of American Dietetic Association accredited Internship or approved training program. Must be ADA registered. Other Qualifications: Previous clinical dietetics experience. Master?s degree in nutrition or related field is preferred. Certification in sub-specialty fields. License or Certification: Licensure with the state of Minnesota required. Medicare certifification required. Benefit Eligible: Yes Exemption Status: Exempt Hours/Pay Period: 80 Schedule Details: Monday - Friday Compensation Detail: Salaried - Education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum salary every two weeks is approximately $1,685.00, based on a full-time position.
