Job Description Clinical Dietitian Part-time System ID: 14681 Location: US-MA-METHUEN Position Title: Clinical Dietitian 1 Relocation: No Category: Nutrition Type: Part-Time More information about this job: Unit Description: Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian with 0 - 2 years experience for a part-time (20 hours per week) in-patient clinical dietetics position in a 234 bed communicty hospital. located in Methuen, MA (Boston, MA metro area). Reporting to the Clinical Nutrition Manager, the ideal candidate will have experience in nutrition care process for adult medical-surgical inpatients, including nutrition support. Experience with EHR (Meditech) is desirable. The selected candidate will join a team of experienced professionals in the Food and Nutrition Services, and be an active part of a dynamic team delivery nutrition care services within the facility and community. Candidates should have strong communications and customer services skills, be able to work proactively with the medical staff, and be team oriented. Candidate who are eligible for RD certification will be considered. Position Summary : Provides basic nutrition assessments and care planning for patients/residents. Plans special diets and supervises their preparation. Instructs patients/residents and/or hospital personnel in basic principles of nutrition and modifications of normal diet. Performs routine care responsibilities without training and direction. Qualifications Requirements: Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree Basic Functional Experience - No previous work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics required + Meets eligibility requirements for certification as a Registered Dietitian.
