Clinical Director Job in El Monte, California Us

Responsible for leading effective service delivery of child and family services in a residential substance abuse treatment program for women with children. Works closely with Program Director and partner agencies to develop, implement and maintain a comprehensive, integrated, trauma informed, family centered approach to treatment.


Supervision

Supervises Family Services Coordinator and Children’s Services Coordinator.


Specific Areas of Responsibilities


A. Program Services
 1. Supervises project staff to ensure proper and effective delivery of integrated, family centered services, including evidence based curricula
 2. Works with Program Director and staff to coordinate services with facility operations and activities
 3. Works with Program Director and partner agency representatives to maintain productive linkages with agencies that meet participant and family members’ needs
 4. Ensures that all services are delivered with a gender responsive, trauma informed, family centered approach
 5. Provides on-going group supervision to facility staff
 6. Serves as on-site liaison with Evaluator and research personnel


B.   Project Effectiveness
 1. Collaborates with consultants and partner agencies to ensure that all service delivery staff are well trained and prepared to deliver project interventions
 2. Implements and oversees protocols recommended by consultants, Evaluator, program monitor, or other technical assistance, as necessary


C.   Administrative Duties
 1. Works with Project Director to prepare timely and accurate reports to funder.


D.  Attend meetings as required; other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications
• LCSW or LMFT required
• At least three years’ experience in substance abuse/mental health treatment services, including management and supervisory responsibilities, with experience in women’s services preferred
• Must be able to pass a background check to work in a program serving offenders and children
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
• Knowledge of trauma effects, symptoms, and treatment
• Excellent telephone and communication (oral written) skills
• Excellent attention to detail, ability to work independently and strong organizational skills
• Commitment to working with diverse communities.


Desirable Qualifications
• Bilingual fluency in written and spoken Spanish/English.
• Understanding of gender responsive service delivery for female offenders.
