What you need for this position:
* 5+ years experience with Inpatient Clinical Documentation

What you'll be doing:

* The Clinical Documentation Specialist position is responsible for ensuring the overall quality and completeness of concurrent inpatient clinical documentation to facilitate appropriate reimbursement.
* The role supports timely, accurate, and complete documentation of clinical information used for measuring and reporting physician and hospital outcomes and Initiates dialogue with various providers to collect, validate, and clarify data in the clinical record to facilitate ongoing capture of data. Responsible to identify patterns, trends, variances and opportunities to improve documentation, collaborates and provides education to internal customers.
