Collaborative position between CHCT Launceston UTas Faculty of Health Science (School of Nursing and Midwifery School of Medicine)
1 X 0.6FTE(6 days per fortnight) 34 weeks Undergraduate Nursing 0.4FTE (4 days per fortnight) 32 weeks Undergraduate Medicine
Up to 0.8 (8 days per fortnight) in clinical practice during semester breaks (negotiable)
We are looking to recruit a Registered Nurse for the role of Clinical Facilitator who will coordinate undergraduate nursing and medical students from the University of Tasmania Faculty of Health Science. The successful individual will be a dynamic and creative clinician who will demonstrate a sound understanding of learning and teaching in clinical settings while actively working in collaboration with a diverse team including UTas School of Nursing and Midwifery School of Medicine, Training and Development, Clinical Nurse Managers, Clinical Preceptors and Students.
Salary will be consistent with a Registered Nurse Level 3, Year 1 while in the role of Clinical Facilitator. In addition, there will be the opportunity to work in a clinical role when undergraduate facilitation is not required as a Registered Nurse Level 1 / Level 2 (negotiable).
