Hays Social Care are currently recruiting a Clinical Lead Nurse on behalf of their Sutton based client. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Clinical Lead who is looking for a permanent role in a prestigious Nursing Home in the Sutton area.

As a Clinical Lead Nurse - RGN you have responsibility for leading a team of nursing staff to ensure the delivery of an excellent standard of care, which promotes independence and dignity and positively enhances the lives of individuals in our care.

This is an elderly nursing home considered one of the top providers in the region. The home has a great reputation for providing activities to engage with their residents. The home operates to a very high standard and you should be keen to join a team dedicated to providing high levels of care within a fantastic nursing home. You should be someone who is passionate about care and making a difference in other people's lives.

You will be responsible for leading a shift to ensure excellent standards of care are delivered, and for promoting independence and dignity and positively enhancing the lives of individuals in your care. The role is ideal for a nurse who relishes a challenge, enjoys working in a busy nursing home environment and who constantly strives to ensure high standards and procedures are in place.

You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of quality care by continually assessing the resident's needs and wishes while also developing, reviewing and updating care plans to meet our clients changing physical, social and psychological needs. The successful applicant will also be responsible for promoting the highest standards of nursing care for you and your team and ensuring all staff are supervised appropriately and the shift runs in a smooth and efficient manner.

You will be a:

• A Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification
• A current registration with the NMC and a legal right to work in the UK
• Experience in working with patients with dementia (advantageous but not essential)
