JOB DESCRIPTION:
Provide continuous leadership and assume accountability for the delivery of patient care within the Oncology unit. Responsible for overseeing operations including performance improvement, clinical outcomes, human resource and fiscal management, and providing supervision within a multi-disciplinary team. In addition to the responsibilities described above, the role may include such other responsibilities and duties as assigned from time to time, based upon Exempla needs or requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Bachelor's degree in nursing or health care
Minimum five years recent oncology nursing experience
Minimum of two years experience in management or supervision
Knowledge of nursing theory, practice management, leadership
Experience in the application of quality management principles
Experience with informatics systems and principles
Current RN License in the State of Colorado
BCLS Certification
ACLS Certification
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's degree in nursing, healthcare or business
