Bone Marrow Transplant/Hematology/Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist
18-bed stem cell transplant/hematology unit and 21-bed oncology unit
Rush has an excellent opportunity to provide nursing specialty care and education for our inpatient BMT/Hematology and Oncology units. You will also direct, monitor and evaluate clinical and operational aspects as well as maximize efficient and cost-effective patient care. Enjoy the ability to utilize your expertise to contribute to the department, division and medical center programs and goals. Oncology has been identified as a strategic growth program at Rush. Our transplant program is FACT accredited. Our cancer program is accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer. In addition you will play a key role as the units move to a brand new facility with Rush's ongoing Transformation process.
Requires RN license and APN license as a Clinical Nurse Specialist with Oncology specialty (OCN/AOCN) and skills in staff development required
