This position will provide clinical expertise to two thirty-seven bed adult general medicine units.
Patient populations include:
renal and liver disease, infectious disease, gastrointestinal, cardiac and respiratory illnesses. The CNS is essential in the education of our staff as well as assisting in the implementation and coordination of care for our complex patients. The candidate is an advanced practice nurse with an in-depth knowledge of medical nursing who promotes quality patient care through an integrated role of expert clinician, consultant, educator, researcher, and leader. Requirements include current licensure as a RN and APN in the State of Illinois, a Masters degree in nursing, and progressive experience in medical clinical areas.
