Clinical Nurse Supervisor

Provides direction and leadership to staff to ensure development and application of standards to enhance the quality of care to patients within stated areas of specialty. Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing/Nurse Manager, responsible and accountable for the development and application of standards to enhance the quality of care to clients/patients within stated areas of specialty. As a role model, utilize the nursing process in practice, evaluation and reserve. Serve as a member of the interdisciplinary team, functioning collaboratively as a consultant and practitioner. Requires current MA RN licensure, BSN or working toward the same, 3 - 5 years clinical experience in acute care setting, CPR certification/instructor. ACLS required for house, ER, IMC, ICU. Neonatal CPR certification also required for Family Life Center. Specialty certification in specific units.
