We have multiple exciting opportunities for Clinical Nurses to join our clinical management teams across our Residential Aged Care sites.

 

We are seeking Clinical Nurses with proven Aged Care knowledge and experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must, as is the ability to think laterally. The ideal candidate is someone who has the ability to challenge outmoded ideas via robust discussion and is eager to add value.

 

As a key member of our site management teams you will be challenged and rewarded as you provide expert clinical care and advice. You’ll lead our dedicated team of Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Care Workers by example, providing both education and guidance.

 

You’ll be Responsible for the day-to-day co-ordination of clinical activities in the provision of quality nursing care for aged care residents and support the Site Manager and Care Manager to lead a multi disciplined team in the delivery of individualised quality nursing care. You’ll also provide support and assistance to the Site Manager and Care Manager in decision making, staff development, client and family relationships, continuous improvement, quality standards, documentation and accreditation.

 

You’ll be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered General Nurse, have proven experience working with elderly people, have high level clinical experience, excellent interpersonal skills, computer literacy, attention to detail and enjoy working with a great team of people in a friendly, professional environment.

 

Essential requirements, in order to be considered for the role are:

·           Proven, relevant aged care experience

·           Possession of an Australian Bachelor of Nursing degree

·           Registration with the Nursing Board of South Australia as a Registered General Nurse

·           Sound computer skills

·           Possession of Australian Residency or a current Australian Working VISA

·           Post graduate qualifications in a related field eg. Gerontology would be viewed as desirable.
