Job Description Job Classification: Contract This position requires a National Pharmacy Technician Certification. POSITION SUMMARY: Handling incoming calls members and providers, to provide assistance with the prior authorization process. Also, maintains thorough documentation of approvals and denials. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Analyze algorithms and provide decisions regarding PA requests. - Customer service to health care providers and internal providers in a PA program. - PA program education. - Use of online databases to document recommendations, clinical decisions and responses.
