The University of Miami Miller School of Medicine has an immediate opportunity for a Clinical Program Manager. Territory for the position is in North Central and Panhandle areas of Florida.   Works with appropriate agency personnel to meet needs of the facility with regards to tissue donation and tissue transplant. Educates professionals and public on tissue banking processes.  Secures and maintains Memorandums of Understanding with hospital administration, Medical Examiners and follows up with in-services and educational development.   Responsible for first line support for all UMTB customers.   Troubleshoots issues to determine root cause and identifies possible solutions, and documents all activities. With minimal assistance, helps customers with procedural issues, technical questions and implantation of allograft.  Educates hospital staff on tissue donation and provides in-services including the referral donation recovery process.  Provides public education with respect to organ, tissue and eye donation within assigned areas.  Conducting regularly scheduled meetings/visits with internal departments to update staff on customer satisfaction/complaints of UMTB allografts and service. Makes “rounds” during all shifts, in all hospitals, ME’s, Funeral homes in assigned areas, including random visits to surgery and purchasing on a regular basis to ensure the agencies transplant needs are being met.  Provides assistance in obtaining donor related documents (hospital records, autopsy, etc.) as required.   Performs death record review and collate information to ensure a referrals are consistent with reporting on a monthly basis, quarterly basis for each designated location.  Tracks all hospital visits, contact names and educational training sessions.

Bachelors Degree and three years relevant experience in Tissue Banking preferably or Operating Room Environment or medical center environment. Excellent organization and presentation experience and skills.  Proficient with MS Office Suites and the UMTB Software applications. Must have valid unrestricted State of Florida issued drivers license and good driving record with proof of valid insurance.  Must have dependable transportation at all times. Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications will be considered.
