Clinical Project Manager Job in Bronx, New York US
We have been retained by a large, Metro NYC based non-profit, healthcare organization that provides a continuum of long term care to locate a Clinical Project Manager. The successful candidate will facilitate the deployment of new clinical and business applications, including customization, implementation, documentation, training, user support, and other infrastructure related tasks.
Responsibilities include
Ø Lead the planning and implementation of various clinical and non-clinical applications
Ø Define project scope, goals, deliverables, tasks and resource requirements
Ø Develop and maintain the project work plan based on information from subject matter experts
Ø Coordinate the project specific activities and deliverables from cross-functional project teams
Ø Control change, adjust the budget, timeline, and project scope to accommodate approved changes
Ø Conduct quality reviews and evaluation to assess progress of project
Ø Track project deliverables and provide direction and support to project team
Ø Identify and escalate project risks and issues as needed in a timely manner
Ø Coordinate end user training and support for clinical and non-clinical applications
Ø Prepare documentation for user on various clinical and non-clinical applications
Qualifications
Ø Experience in implementing clinical and non-clinical systems in Healthcare is required
Ø Experience managing all phases of multifaceted IT projects including planning, cost management, resource management, communications, and quality measurement
Ø Experience with systems implementations in the clinical and business application areas is required
Ø Experience with formal project management methodology is required
Ø Experience of managing cross-functional teams is required
Ø Proficiency in project management planning tools
Ø Excellent customer service and verbal and written communication skills are required
Ø Ability to effectively communicate within all levels of the organization and with the client base
Ø Must be able to enforce deadlines in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
The successful candidate must have a Bachelors degree preferably in nursing or equivalent experience with an in-depth understanding of the Healthcare industry. A minimum of 5 years clinical project management experience including experience in IT systems implementation is preferred. Project management experience in an organization with a structured Project Management Office is preferred. McKesson experience preferred.
