Clinical Project Manager (Oncology) Job in South East England, Southern Uk

You will be responsible for looking after a team of CRAs and having overall responsibility for the running of a Clinical project.

 Using strong communication skills and effective working relationships you will ensure the consistent quality of work.
 Constantly assessing performance metrics, making appropriate alterations, supporting the project or team targets.
 Precise interaction with other departments ensuring the delivery and execution of key deliverables.
 Problem solving with personnel and process issues.
 Communicating and documenting interactions with Sponsors based on pertinent SOP
 Defines and implements functional standards, goals, and expectations
 Provides assurance thorough planning and effective implementation of trials based on contracted scope of work, project timelines, and milestones
 Reviews project budgets, monitoring costs, potential overruns and implementing cost effective solutions
 Reviews and identifies project study trends and proactively responds to Sponsor and respective team members at least annually developing appropriate early warning systems of impending obstacles to the successful completion of the project, analyzes information and develops innovative solutions to challenges
 Assists in the development and delivery of capability presentations to prospective customers
 Provides regular project reports and updates. Management and Sponsors as requested
 Participates in the performance appraisal program by providing timely and accurate feedback regarding the performance of each respective team member
 Working effectively with dept. managers to implement the process in order to streamline the delivery of service to the customer.
 Performance reviewing of direct reports.
 Monitoring the project from initiation to through delivery.
 Provide guidance and tactical management to his/her staff.
 Planning and directing schedules and may monitor budget/spending.
 Evaluating project objectives and scope for feasibility.
 Providing guidance and mentoring to project team members.
 Managing customer expectations, to ensure customer satisfaction.
 Handling multiple responsibilities/projects on an ongoing basis.
 Participate in business development activities as appropriate.
 Serving as the primary project contact for communication.
 Involvement in administrative tasks as requested.

Bachelor's or Masters degree in life sciences, pharmacy, nursing or RN preferred.
• Extensive experience in clinical research in the Pharmaceutical / CRO industry.
• Extensive proven project management experience from within the pharmaceutical/CRO industry
• Knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines.
• Relationship building skills and strong interpersonal presence.
• Problem solving ability, ability to multi-task, and strong attention to detail.
• Strong motivational skills and customer service.
Able to demonstrate good computer skills.
