Clinical Quality and Patient Safety Manager

Hays Healthcare is currently looking for an experienced Clinical Quality/Patient Safety Manager to monitor the clinical quality and patient safety of health services commissioned by Norfolk County Council providing assurance to the Governing body that patients accessing services receive a safe and high standard of care and outcomes.

Key Duties:
Develop key relationships with internal and external providers and partners in order to influence the quality and safety agenda.·

Provide specialist advice and support for Norfolk County Council DAAT joint commissioning services and providers on all matters relating to quality and safety.

Manage robust monitoring systems to ensure provider services are of good quality, are safe and meet national and local requirements.·

Report on processes to provide statutory assurances relating to quality and safety to QPS committee and collaborative commissioning partners within other CCGs, sharing.

Ensure that there are good communication systems in place to enable sharing and linking.

Essential knowledge and experience required for the role:

Clinical qualification and minimum 3 years post qualification experience
Educated to Masters level or equivalent experience
Minimum of 3 years in healthcare setting
Proven experience of dealing with complex and sensitive issues
Proven experience of personnel management and recruitment
High levels of energy and drive
High level of self confidence, self knowledge and awareness
Team player but also self motivated

This is a full time role, however part time options will be happily considered for the right candidate. Salary is negotiable and dependent on experience.
