Clinical Research Nurse
Responsibilities Manages all aspects of conducting pharmaceutical and device trials, including regulatory requirements, subject recruitment, patient care, data collection and case reporting form completion. Formal Education Required: - Graduate of an approved school of nursing. Licensed to practice nursing in the State of Ohio Experience Training Required: - Two (2) years of clinical experience; or a baccalaureate in a health related field - Four (4) years clinical research related experience or two (2) years clinical research related experience and a Masters degree in a related field Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications: - Excellent communication, leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills - Ability to work well within a team environment by accepting and offering honest and constructive feedback, supporting team goals and encouraging fellow team members - Ability to keep a mindset of flexibility, optimism and congeniality - Ability for willingness to acquire knowledge of research and regulatory requirements and to work within those policies regarding research in human subjects - Ability to work effectively with a computer and a good knowledge and skill in assessing any clinical condition that is applicable to the study being conducted as well as mastering the use of various medical devices used to assess said condition - Time management skills are necessary to work concurrently on a number of different projects - Ability to thoroughly observe details in order to avoid errors of a technical or judgmental nature - Population Specific Competency: Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity Schedule variable
