Clinical Research Nurse, PRN Job in Omaha, Nebraska Us
Role Responsibility
You will participate in the development and implementation of protocols, including phase I II studies, in the Omaha, NE location on a PRN- as needed basis as a one year temporary employee.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Perform technical functions such as phlebotomy, insertion of catheters and dosing in compliance with the protocol, sponsors objectives and all SOP, and GCP regulations.
- Responsible for the use of specialized medical equipment.
- Hours are variable as needed.
Experience Qualification
- Must be a licensed RN.
- Experience in Phase I and Phase II clinical research preferred.
- Knowledge of CPR is mandatory.
- Critical care experience, ACLS knowledge and competency in venipuncture and IV insertion are preferred.
- Proven ability to uphold methods and standards of clinical research protocols.
- Collaboration with internal and external contacts to achieve research objectives
- Proven computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheet and database applications with emphasis on quality assurance of data and methodology to ensure accuracy of findings
- Excellent communications and organizational skills, must be flexible with hours and shifts as needed.
