Job Family Summary
Clinical Sales is responsible for supporting system sales consultants in increasing penetration and profitability in existing accounts as well as increasing market share by applying bedside clinical experience to product demonstrations and clinical simulations, committee presentations, building a clinical relationships to support new opportunities. The main focus is on account penetration, revenue growth and customer satisfaction and growth. This position is involved in the sale of our clinically differentiated infusion solution to include product, safety software, technology integration and data analytics. The buying process involves strong clinical staff and executive sponsorship.
Accountabilities
- Demonstrates expert knowledge and understanding of products, services and regulatory recommendations/requirements and impact to front line clinician and healthcare environment that may influence sales opportunities
- Collaborates with sales to develop strategic clinical recommendations to influence customer decision to purchase new products and services; develop strategies and action plans to significantly influence clinical acceptance in multi-site and/or complex clinical environments
- Creates or improves strategies to optimize product evaluation processes to enhance participation, outcomes and customer satisfaction and opportunity to drive the process enhancing influence and ability to build key champions and promote the sales process
- Communicates pertinent voice of customer and observed healthcare trending information to support product and service development efforts
- Proactively develops and maintains a broad knowledge base of the product offerings and related clinical application providing guidance on best practices, clinical processes and challenges
- Demonstrates ability to present solutions rather than problems considering all angles through a comprehensive assessment and evaluation; maintains awareness of progress and redirects solution implementation if desired results were not originally met until optimal outcome is achieved

- Nursing degree required; Bachelor or Master's degree preferred
- Minimum 7 years bedside nursing experience to include 3 years ICU experience
- Require ability to travel a minimum 85% of time; occasional weekend coverage
- In-depth product knowledge a plus
- Sales experience a plus; capital sales preferred
- Project management experience a plus
- Presentation or demonstration of effective communication experience a plus
- Valid driver's license
