Clinical Specialist

Purpose Of Role:

Customer Relationship Management - Working closely with LPfIT/SPFIT to manage successful engagement with Trusts. Developing and maintaining on-going relationships with CMH and IT Departments within each NHS Trust and ensuring engagement with key Clinicians.

You will act as the clinical and product expert within the Service Management and technical operations teams to advise on clinical safety matters, liaise with suppliers and to test releases from a position of clinical and product expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

· Support of Service Management and TSM with resolution of service incidents and problems, and prioritisation of these where clinical safety is questioned.
· Resolution of Clinical Safety Incidents.
· Act as the BT service ‘expert’ when interfacing with both Trusts and LPFIT/SPFIT to provide advice on the product and clinical workflow
· Takes responsibility for resolving and managing issues arising throughout the project lifecycle. Will be required to input into design and testing of software releases
· CCN/RFC analysis/advice and support
· Support and advise HSCIC to promote BT Services
· Provide support for proposals for BT additional Services and opportunities
· Attend Trust and LPFIT/SPFIT Project and Board meetings
· Working with suppliers on prioritisation and resolution of incidents
· Providing demo’s and training to service teams of the application from a clinical/business perspective.
· Acting as lead for 1st level clinical incident reviews.
· Site visits to investigate Trust reported issues
· Documenting and compiling reports on findings to be shared with Trusts and internal teams
· Weekend support for Releases/deployment support

Business Impact:

· Partner Relationship Management – Working closely with our external and internal business partners to achieve effective communications and supplier management.
· LSP Relationship – working with the LSP providing a joined up approach for the delivery of all BT services within the relevant trusts
· HSCIC engagements- Working with and managing relationships with HSCIC representatives to enable a joined up approach to deployment.
· Represent BT at Clinical Reference Groups and User Groups
· Demonstration of technical solutions at all key HSCIC and BT events
· Requirements analysis
· Clinical Lead and Subject Matter Expert (SME) to BT Health.
