Community Mental Health Nurse

Hays is working with the Ministry of Defence (MoD) to recruit an experienced temporary Community Mental Health Registered Nurses (CMHN) at Band 6 level to work at RAF Mareham, Kings Lynn, Norfolk.

You will have an unprecedented opportunity to make a positive impact on others lives.

Accomodation and Travel expenses can be available.

You will be responsible for providing an outpatient community mental health service, organising therapeutic, educational, training, mental health promotion regimes in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary mental health team.

You will be expected:

To dictate/write medical reports within 1 week of assessment
To support in all aspects of Health Promotion projects, as directed by the Nursing Officer.
To maintain accurate client files, following military and national guidelines.
You must be willing to train to become authorised in use of Defence Medical Information Capability Programme (DMICP).

Essential

Be a Registered Nurse on either part 3 or part 13 of the NMC Register.
You must have a minimum of two years community mental health nursing experience.
SLiAP
Secondary Clinical Qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)/ Trauma Focused CBT
Clean UK driving licence.
Good computer skills

Desirable:

BSc Nursing
Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (Level 1)
