Position: CMM Operator / Programmer
Wage: $18.50-22.50/hour
Shift: 1st
QPS Employment Group has an immediate opportunity available for a CMM Operator/ Programmer at a manufacturing company in Manitowoc, WI. This is a direct hire position!
Responsibilities:
· Work in a lab setting, performing highly technical inspections/measurements, requiring exact tolerances, using CMM, OGP, etc.
· Check first-piece part layout and tooling to tool print and customer part drawings
· Supply inspections data to engineering, manufacturing and quality areas, as well as customer's technical personnel.
· Design inspection and statistics programs for various computer-controlled inspection equipment.
Requirements:
· Must have excellent skill in supporting and communicating with all engineering functions including NPI, RD, Manufacturing and Engineering departments.
· Trained in the use of applicable programming sofware used for various computerized measurement equipment (PC-DMIS, MeasureMind, etc).
· Two or more years of experience in Quality related field.
