CNC Machinist
This is a great opportunity for an experienced CNC Professional to oversee a state of the art Machineshop during our nightshift hours. We are in need of someone who is responsible, a quick worker and thinker, and one who can inspire others to work their hardest!
We are looking for someone who can provide innovative solutions to streamline our machineshop processes. We want you to suggest and implement ideas in order to make the machineshop a great place for innovation and superior quality!
You will need to like the challenge of taking charge of the nightshift crew, earning their respect, and providing leadership to a skilled staff.
Duties/Qualifications
Job Responsibilities will include overseeing machine shop operations.
- You will be able to use your strong knowledge of CNC Lathe/Mill machines to produce very intricate Aerospace Components.
- You will need to exercercise judgment to make modifications in programs when necessary.
- You will need to provide "Hands-on” supervision of drill press and deburring centers to maintain good quality and productivity.
- You will need to maintain production schedules and quality standards of some machines shop cells.
- You will need to provide good leadership of delegating duties, make work assignments and oversee training of personnel.
- Checks first articles to conform to specification, using precision, measuring instrument such as: micrometers, calipers, and standard rings and plug gauges.
