Description:
Volt has partnered with a leading company in Rancho Santa Margarita to help identify multiple experienced setting up and operating CNC machines, such as lathes and mills to cut, shape, or form metal work pieces to specifications. In this role you would be responsible for: setting up accurately and operating CNC machines; measures and adjusts machine parts; adjusts machine feed and speed and change cutters to machine parts according to specifications when automatic programming is faulty or machine malfunctions; troubleshoots and interprets malfunctions and make corrections; consult programmers to establish sequence of operation and product program readout when required; work from prints, sketches, process sheets, layouts and templates; detect and report machines and equipment; checks travelers and blueprints for errors or special instructions; uses precision measuring equipment to check accuracy and quality of product; adds coolants and lubricants when necessary; located, adjust, and secures tools and tool holders, grind tools, mount work holding fixtures and adjusts index table to follow programming instructions. Pay is $20 - 26/hr. Positions are temp to hire with an established company. We are currently hiring for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift. To apply, submit resume today.

Requirements:
Must have a minimum of 3 - 5 years experience setting up and running CNC machines, such as vertical lathes, HBM's, VTL's, or horizontal mills. Must have experience working with large parts (5000 - 10, 0000 lbs). Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
