CNC Operator I

Duties and Responsibilities: Perform highly repetitive types of short cycle machine operations associated with quantity production of identical parts. Position is mainly one of machine tending. Specifically, it consists of starting, stopping, and feeding machine. Monitors for imperfect operations. Meets production quotas as specified by the V.P. of Manufacturing. Must be able to manage time efficiently. Must be flexible and willing to learn new assembly requirements. Performs repetitive inspection of parts using precision instruments such as micrometers, height gauges, calipers and indicators. Other responsibilities as deemed necessary by the Machining Crew Leader and/or V.P. of Manufacturing. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED 1 - 4 years of previous CNC machining experience preferred in a manufacturing, production, and assembly environment.
