CNC Operator
Light Engineering is seeking a CNC Operator for our Machining area. This position calls for the individual to be organized, quality conscious, strong positive attitude, good communicator and an excellent understanding of Fanuc controllers. This person will report to the production supervisor and operations manager.
Expectations:
- Must have worked with CNC Lathe and/or Milling machines using Fanuc Controls.
- Must be competent is the use of calipers, micrometers, depth micrometers, manual machines i.e. engine lathe and manual mill.
- Must be an effective troubleshooter when problems arise within the CNC machines.
- Housekeeping- this must be done on a daily basis and anyone working in the area has to participate.
- Be dedicated to the steady improvement of the company by meeting or exceeding all production and quality goals each and every week.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must have working knowledge of electric hoist systems.
- Must have good attendance at all times as the CNC Operator position is critical to our success.
Experience and Education:
- Must have 3-5 years of programming along with execution of solid models.
- Solid models are based from Solid works.
