CNC Operator Set Up Machinist
CNC SWISS OPERATORS AND SET-UP MACHINISTS Our clients are manufacturers in the Medical device and Aerospace industries with needs for CNC Citizen Swiss operators and set-up machinists. These are temp to perm and direct hire positions. Positions are available on the first and second shifts. Positions require: -Ability to set up, operate and maintain operations on one or more CNC controlled turning or machining centers. -Ensure all required setup and run documentation such as process sheets and inspection check sheets are in place. -Be able to determine appropriate tooling, speeds, feeds, and process to achieve production and quality requirements. -Create, modify, or activate CNC programs used to produce specific parts. -Optimize existing programs, tooling, or processes to achieve or exceed production and quality requirements. -Obtain first piece verification, complete in process check sheets and maintain all dimensions to required tolerances. -Operate production machines. -Make adjustments to the set up, tool wear offsets or CNC program. Job Qualifications -2-5 years on the job experience in related field. -Ability to read and write English. -Background with stainless steel and titanium -Previous FDA/FAA experience is desired -Experience with multi axis CNC milling or lathes -Familiarity with Mastercam CAD/CAM -Ability to interpret blueprints with ANSI 14.5Y tolerances
