Job Description: The Talent Management Program Manager is responsible to manage and advance the RMS strategy for Talent Management in alignment with business requirements and Raytheon corporate practices. Working with HR Business Partners, they will orchestrate talent reviews to identify high potential talent and facilitate leadership discussions to establish succession plans for each key RMS role. Further, they will work with RMS Learning to develop accelerated candidate development options and with HRBPs, business leaders, and succession candidates to identify developmental opportunities, evaluate development progress, and maintain the viability of succession plans for all key positions. Required Skills: The successful candidate must have a minimum 8 years of HR or equivalent experience with at least 3 years of responsibility in talent or organization development and 2 years in roles requiring direct executive support. Critical skills include the proven ability to operate effectively within a collaborative environment, manage company-wide projects through others, influence senior leaders, facilitate senior level discussions, and coach both candidates and executives for successful selection and development outcomes. Key interpersonal skills will include listening, collaborating, straightforwardness, and building credibility, trust, and rapport. A strong knowledge of the business and a "future" orientation will be necessary to be effective in this role. Degree Requirements: Undergraduate degree in organizational development, HR or a closely related field; Advanced degree in business, organizational development, HR management or related field preferred. Responsibilities: Coordinate effective talent review through HR Directors and Business Partners, assuring high standards of candidate identification and consistency of standards across RMS leadership. Drive the management and advancement of the RMS strategy for Talent Management to assure continuity, capability, and diversity in the future leadership of RMS . Conduct gap analysis for critical roles that have no apparent successors identified and coordinate contingency plans. Partner with HR Directors and Business Partners to ensure that every identified high potential candidate has a robust and individualized development program. Assure that diversity issues (generational, cultural, etc.) differences are considered in development planning. Ensure that the development programs are managed and tracked. Provide executive and candidate consulting as needed to assure that aggressive development plans are defined and that a path for candidate development is visible. Conduct development planning for key talent pools, such as executive successor candidates and diverse talent. Actively track the growth, placement and retention of identified high potential employees across the organization. Develop and monitor the effectiveness of development plans by analyzing data and providing feedback and/or recommending modifications as needed. Understand and provide input to effectiveness metrics for all phases of Talent Management including success in moving candidates for development and overall success as defined by selection of planned candidates into targeted roles . Act as a thought partner to HR Business Partners on issues of executive leadership development.
