REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will have several years of hands-on software development experience, focused on the customization of eMatrix Central applications. Candidates must have experience with the 10.7 and/or V6 version of the eMatrix Central applications and the associated development environment (MQL, ADK, AEF, IEF, etc.). Experience with some or all of the following other software technologies are strongly preferred: Java, Java Server Pages (JSPs), Tcl/Tk, XML, HTML, applets, servlets, Websphere, MS Office and/or Windows APIs. Understanding of the Designer Central data model, configuration, interfaces, CAD document management processes and logic are preferred. This individual should also have excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork skills, a commitment to customer satisfaction, and a high level of independence, initiative and drive.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze, design, code, test and debug existing and new programs to support the customization of the eMatrix Engineering, Program, Team and Specification Central applications.
Develop software integrations between eMatrix and existing database systems using Java servlets, adaplets, Webmethods, XML and other related development tools.
Develop software customizations to support the eMatrix Designer Central and MS Office integrations.
Develop Java Server Pages (JSPs), Java servlets, and Java applets to facilitate the eMatrix web based interfaces.
Develop Java Program Objects (JPOs) and Tcl/Tk scripts to implement triggers and cleanup up existing migrated database information.
Develop and document test procedures and assist with unit, integration, and regression testing activities.
Write and maintain documents to describe application development logic, coding, testing, changes and corrections.
Work with existing eMatrix Developers/Support to create and maintain data migration scripts/programs to support migration efforts.
Analyze, test and debug existing and new scripts to support the data migration of legacy data to the eMatrix Specification, Engineering, Program and Designer Central applications.
Create and maintain documentation describing the script/program logic as needed.
Develop and document test procedures and assist with unit, integration and regression testing of data migration scripts/programs. Validate migrated data by generating reports on both systems.
Document and monitor the data migration process. Gather and organize data to assist the business with validating the migration of documents.
