Cognos BI Developer / Principal Cognos BI Consultant - (Cognos 8, Cognos 10, Query / Analysis / Metric /Framework Manager / Report studio / Cube Creation / Cognos connection) / SQL Business Intelligence
A Cognos Business Intelligence Consultant and a Principal Cognos Business Consultant with Cognos, 8 (8.4), 10 and Cognos Express tools are needed for a Tier 1 IBM Partner, to be responsible for the provision of Business Analytics Consultancy services to customers. As the Cognos BI Consultant your role will be to travel UK Wide with projects and will also include working from home options.
As part of your role as the Cognos BI Consultant/Business Analytics Consultant you will be involved in providing a high level consultancy service to customers on all aspects of the IBM Cognos product range. You will also provide customer problem resolution, identifying high priority defects or customer sensitive issues and work with customers to resolve each problem through the appropriate channels.
WORK FROM HOME BETWEEN PROJECTS.
Successful candidates will have the following:
- IBM Cognos (Version 8, 10 and Express) Advanced Skills
- IBM Cognos (Version 8, 10 and Express) Installation Skills;
- Experience of Business Intelligence Standards and Technologies, including Kimball methodology and SQL;
- Multi Sector Business Knowledge.
The following skills are desirable, but not essential:
- Framework Manager, Metrics Manager, BI Server, Report Studio, Event Studio, Query Studio, Analysis Studio, and Map Manager;
- Infosphere Data Stage knowledge;
- MDX Development;
- IBM Certification.
